Our End of Year Performance Squad Concert will be held on Sunday 23rd November 5:30PM

In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. Of course, this is only if it can’t be helped and in line with studio guidelines. If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact reception to let us know in advance.
We will be running all routines as well as our choreographed Opening & Finale in class to ensure they are performance ready & we put on our best show!
Dancers will be invoiced for the Performer Fee ONCE which will cover them for both shows
HOWEVER
for the Squad Concert you will need to select if you want the Photo/Video Package for $30
Performer Fee: $70 per dancer (this is all valued at $120)

CONCERT TSHIRT
All students receive a concert commemorative t-shirt included as part of their performers fee. You can pre-select the size you wish to receive by filling out the form below. Please see the dates to remember (graphic above) for the due date for these selections - anyone who has not preselected their shirt size will have their t-shirt assigned based on their age.

CONCERT MEMORABILIA
VIDEOS
We engage the services of a Professional Videographer. All parents will receive a digital download of their dancers show included as a part of your concert performers fee. All parents will be emailed the link which will enable you to view and download the concert videos at home.
Concert videos will be emailed out early January and will be available for 4 weeks only to download.
ON STAGE & BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS
We engage the services of a Professional Photographer who will be taking on stage photos of all shows. Please be aware that the “live on stage” images are captured in the moment and there is no way to guarantee that photos will be taken of each individual child. We will have our media wall set up again prior to the shows for our professional photographer to snap photos of your dancers individually & with friends .
All digital images will be provided to parents which is included as a part of your concert performers fee.
TROPHY & LOLLY BAG
All students will receive our 2025 MF Dance Trophy as well as a yummy lolly bag to enjoy! There may also be another little surprise for our dancers.
REHEARSAL DAY
Rehearsal Day = Saturday 1st November @ MF Dance Studio
At MF Dance Studio we understand that the end of year is a busy time for families which is why we like to put our dates out so far in advance. These rehearsals are important for the STUDENTS as it allows them to practice in a 'concert' setting, practice costume changes & make sure our show is a professional one!
PERFORMANCE SQUAD CONCERT REHEARSAL
HAIR is required
NO MAKEUP is required
Drop Off Time for ALL Performance Squad Students = 11:00AM
Performance Squad Concert Rehearsal = 11:30-2:00PM
Finale Rehearsal = 2:30-4:00PM (Kids will have breaks during this to eat)
Opening Rehearsal = 4:15-5:15PM
Time for Extra Run Throughs/Notes/Debrief = 5:15-5:30PM
Pick Up Time for All Performance Squad Students = 5:30/5:45PM
Students will receiver their 2025 Concert T-shirt either before this date or on this date.
ALL Students to arrive in their MF Uniform (do not arrive in costumes) with their HAIR done.
WHAT TO PACK:
Pack ALL Costumes with any accessories & hair pieces
Pack ALL Stockings
Pack ALL & Correct Shoes
Pack Healthy Lunch/Snacks (nothing too messy or sticky)
Pack Hairspray/Gel, Brush/Comb, Extra Pins, Elastics etc for touch ups if required
Pack in a costume bag or a dream duffel
Our staff will get everyone dressed during the show run & get the students ready for collection but we highly suggest that EVERYTHING IS LABELLED.
Wear Dance undergarments that would be worn on concert day (see further information detailed later in "what to wear")
CONCERT DAY = Sunday 23rd November @ Inaburra School Performing Arts Centre @ 5:30PM
DROP OFF & PICK UP
On concert day, all of the students will be staying backstage with us for the duration of the concert. Students need to have their hair and makeup done and arriving in their 2025 Concert T-Shirt & any MF Uniform bottoms/black bottoms. DO NOT ARRIVE IN COSTUME.
You can leave the red lipstick off & staff will make sure this is done along with any other touch ups after our stage run!
DROP OFF TIME= 1:00PM @ the right hand side of the foyer at Inaburra School Performing Arts Centre
This is our pick up zone & is where out staff will mark your child's name off & then we will take them backstage. No parents backstage.
Students are required to arrive at 1:00pm sharp as we have planned photos & a show run for everyone before the show.
During the dropping off times, we ask that one parent/guardian comes with their child into the drop off area (you will be directed once inside the venue).
PICK UP TIME = Once the show has finished - Estimated Finish Time 7:45/8:00PM
We will then escort all the students backstage to collect their belongings & we will bring them out to the foyer.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we talk you through the concert day procedure again in the weeks leading up to the concert.
PHOTO MEDIA WALL
If you wish to get photos taken on our photo/media wall by our professional photographer then please arrive at 1:00PM on the dot (NO EARLIER) so you have time before they need to come backstage.
We will have an epic set up again with a balloon arch, photo frames, our media wall & a purple runway.
You can also take your own photos before & after the show!
SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY
To help with student organisation and safety, we ask that you have read & understand our drop off & pick up procedures.
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in / out of security lists to gain access backstage. All backstage helpers will be issued with security passes that are required to be worn at all times. Only MF Dance Studio staff and registered parent helpers are permitted backstage. We are unable to run messages or food to students, so please make sure they have everything before they come backstage for rehearsal and the concert. There will be a someone at the door for the entire day checking passes. We do this to protect the students, please respect this policy. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in. We have everyone's medical conditions on file but if you would like to remind us that is great & you MUST let us know if your child is carrying any medication.
WHAT TO WEAR
ALL Students are to arrive in their 2025 MF Dance Concert T-Shirt & MF Uniform bottoms or black bottoms. NO COSTUMES to be worn to the venue.

UNDERWEAR
Note: Every female student needs to wear tan dance undies.
Dance undies are available for purchase at Daisy Dance Wear located around the corner from the studio.
Please be aware that under stage lights, dark coloured or patterned underwear does not look good under light coloured costumes.
DANCE EARRINGS, NAIL POLISH/NAILS & JEWELLERY
Every student needs to be wearing dance earrings only. NO Hoops.
NO Jewellery! We will take these off the students
NO Fake Nails & NO Nail Polish
HAIR
Minis Squad = 2 x Slick High Space Buns
Junior- Pre-Teen Squad = Middle Part Low Slick Ponytail
Teen & Senior Squad = Middle Part High Slick Bun w/ Hair Out The Top
You will need to use a lot of hairspray/gel and a fine tooth comb to achieve the slick look and possibly multiple elastics. Please also use an elastic the same colour as their hair.
MAKEUP
Please try not to cake it on or make it look like a mask as this does not look natural on stage.
Apply make-up base. Foundation needs to be darker than what their normal shade would be- not too much darker but. Can use a tinted moisturiser & powder if preferred!
Apply pinkish brown tone blush to cheekbones.
Apply pink/brown eye shadow on lid – work from the inside corner along the lash line. You may also like to use white under the brow to highlight.
Add black mascara to both top and bottom lashes (if you can) I know little ones don't always like this.
Apply red lipstick.
WHAT TO BRING
FOOD & DRINK
Students need to bring some food to fuel up after our stage run. We suggest a healthy snack & the maybe a few lollies for some extra energy. We have a canteen on site that the students can go buy some yummy food after the show. Please bring a labelled water bottle ONLY- no soft drinks or juices.
PACKING CHECKLIST
It is suggested that students bring all of their belongings in a clear costume bag or dream duffel bag. It is much easier than rummaging through a bag. Please write their names all over the box and on everything that they bring, every year we have so many pairs of dance shoes and uniforms lost that are never claimed. Please use the following checklist:
